I am a 5th year PhD scholar in Physics at the University of Toronto.

I love biking long distances, cooking nice food, playing some violin, and meeting interesting people.

When I am not doing any of the above, I am doing research. My main interest is geophysical and astrophysical fluid dynamics. I study planetary to stellar scale flows using primarily theoretical and computational, and occasionally observational tools through collaborations.

Research

Navigating through engineering and physics educational backgrounds, interdisciplinarity lies at the core of my research. In general, am interested in mathematical modeling of natural phenomena. However, in the past couple of years my work has revolved around the mechanics of planetary and stellar scale astrophysical phenomena.

Wave driven Hot-Jupiter variability. Atmospheric circulation of variably irradiated synchronous and asynchronous planets. Exoplanet magnetic fields using high-resolution phase-resolved cross-correlation spectroscopy.

Recent

Beating climates of variably irradiated asynchronous exoplanets. Rotational mixing in stellar and planetary interiors. Meridional circulation in stratified environments.

Past

Spin and shape evolution of rubble-piles. Continuum regolith flows on top-shaped asteroids. Discrete granular flow on a rotating and gravitating ellipse. Mechanical logic gates.
